Great place to eat authentic Mexican food.
My favorite is the Chile Relleno combination plate.

Since I am working in East Dundee, I had to find a place I like best; the one I would crave to go every other day, and here it is :)
I absolutely love this place, the service is incredibly fast, whether I am dining in or taking some out. Food is always fresh and delicious, I had never experienced any quality issues and nothing ever made me feel uncomfortable.
One more thing I have to mention, is that burrito structure. Sometimes, when youre getting burrito, this large tortilla wrap may get soggy and break having all that inside fall out and make you eat it with silverware. Here, structure is flawless. Even a single burrito had never fallen apart.
I absolutely love this place and I would definitely recommend it for lunch to anyone working in the area! -

Ok, so I may have been a lil tipsy when I visited this lovely restaurant, but it's a super good Mexican restaurant.
I ordered one the largest tortas I've ever had. It was very tasty, especially, after a night of indulgence. From what I remember the chips and salsa were delicious.
We walked in 20 min before they closed and they were very nice to us. My buddy ordered a huge plate of food and finished it all. So his must've been good too.
I would love to make it back there again, but it is little far from my house. -

5 years later; the bf and I are married and live in Minneapolis. Almost everytime we visit we get El Faro's Burritos. They're delicious and the salsas are great. We usually splurge and get horchata now, since it's our almost regular stop at the end of our 6+ hour drive. The quality and consistency is wonderful.

Really enjoyed my steak burrito here. Reminded me of how good food used to be at taquerias. Good salsa too. Try this place, hidden gem.
